DERBYSHIRE, ENGLAND—Archaeologists will investigate what could be the world’s oldest railway tunnel. The Butterley Gangroad in Derbyshire, England, was constructed in 1793 for industrial railway carriages pulled by horses. Laser scanning equipment will be used to map the structure.
