Last week, we were mostly working at the Hadrianic nymphaeum, so the excavations on the Lower Agora near the southwest corner of the Roman Baths building were limited to only two days. At the Lower Agora we removed more of the earthquake destruction debris on top of the Roman road that runs from the north towards the south just to the west of the Baths complex. Apart from rubble and architectural fragments originating from the bathhouse, this layer contained only a few small finds. Our excavation team unearthed a small section of the east wall of room 11 (one of the rooms belonging to the eastern portico) consisting of reused blocks and rubble stones.
