@ previous post: Indeed, I have to agree it is often not easy to spend one or two months with these surveyors. And the lack of privacy is killing me/us too ;-) By the way, for more daily life pictures of these and other project members, feel free to drop by on the Sagalassos project's main website.

I agree that a (topographical) map should have a legend and scale. The images published with the report do not show our topographical map, however, an merely illustrate the text. They should not be used as standalone maps. For maps with regard to the Sagalassos excavation, consult our website. We are working on an on-line version of the completed topographical map, soon to be published on our website.

Topographic maps, like most other maps, have a legend that indicates the scale and the meaning of the symbols used in the map.

Seen your group photo, and have to say if I had known such attractive women would become archeologists, I'd have signed up a long time ago.

Hi,
I found the information interesting mainly as I'm interested in Hellenistic and Early Roman Military Architecture of the region. I find the Sagalassos on-line reporting a very professional and effective one. We have much to learn from this perspective.
Actually I ran to the web site looking for some new parallels to our newly discovered odeion in Hippos-Israel.
Once in Israel you are invited to "bother" me.

Best,
Michael

I just wanted you to know that I look at your website each day for the last few years. I think it is great. I live in Westbrook Connecticut and wish we had these ruins over here.
