| There can be no doubt that the new fortified city site at Tepe Düzen, a mere 4 km southwest of Sagalassos, and almost certainly corresponding with the Archaic or even older Sagalassos, was the most important scientific discovery of the week. Next week, ceramic research should establish the chronological time span of its occupation. |
