700-Year-Old Shipwreck Found Off Coast of Vietnam

HANOI, VIETNAM—A 700-year-old shipwreck discovered off the coast of Vietnam has yielded thousands of coins and ceramics from its 13 cargo holds. “The hulk itself, which boasts a unique, rare structure, is a treasured antique, which contributes massively to our knowledge of antique ships in Vietnam and worldwide,” said Nguyen Dinh Chien, deputy head of Vietnam’s National History Museum.
