TOLEDO, OHIO—The Toledo Museum of Art has returned a 2,500-year-old water jug to Italy. The vessel had been purchased from a Swiss antiquities dealer and was put on display at the museum in 1982, but Italian authorities say it had been illegally excavated and smuggled out of the country.
