Thanks so much for your message. I'm a big fan of Rhode Island; the Petra parallel to the changing colors of the leaves would have to be the brilliant striations in the rock. As the day progresses and the sun moves, new stripes become visible. You can see them for yourself by clicking on "photo essay."
