In an interview published in the April 3 issue of New York magazine, Hillary Clinton was asked about her intellectual interests and passions. Her answer: archaeology. Clinton recalls touring Olduvai Gorge with archaeologists and anthropologists and walking through an Australian rain forest with an Aboriginal guide knowledgeable about use of plants in traditional medicine, but admits that traveling to sites in Egypt was one of her lifelong desires. "I subscribe to ARCHAEOLOGY magazine because I love reading about it," she told New York, "If I were to have an interest that I were to go back to school and think about and spend time on, or go on an archaeological dig, that would be at the top of my list."
