Archaeology's Interactive Dig
July 2003-July 2009InteractiveDig Sagalassos
The entrance room with three vaulted passages unearthed in the southeastern corner of the Odeion, without any doubt, was the find of the week because of its remarkable state of conservation and of the quality of its stone carving (see Odeion, August 7-11, 2005). We can only confirm that the excavations carried out on this spot during the week starting on Sunday, August 14, has corroborated our choice, even if we still have to evacuate at least two meters of earth before reaching its floor.
