July-August 2006InteractiveDig Sagalassos: Find of the Week 1 2006
This week we selected not one, but two "finds of the week." The first is a beautifully worked socketed bone handle, decorated with alternating horizontal lines and patterns of concentric circles, originating from room 4 in the Macellum and dating to the later sixth century A.D. However, an even more surprising second find was found in one of my collaborator's socks, as explained in "Daily Life."
