July-August 2006InteractiveDig Sagalassos: Find of the Week 2 2006
The large copper alloy cross, dated to the late sixth or early seventh century A.D., discovered in Room 4 of the Macellum. The layer also contained a coin of Heraclius, dated ca. A.D. 610-640, which aided us in dating the cross.
